CHARPAI is open to all people of Indian
origin, all faiths, all ages from the Pittsburgh area.
Whether your family lived in Milwaukee or Mozambique, Fiji
or Finland, Mumbai or Melbourne, if you feel connected to
India, do visit CHARPAI. Bring your spouse and kids, parents
and extended family and introduce them to CHARPAI. Share
your experiences, your interests and your secrets for
successful integration into the wonderful American Mosaic.
CHARPAI is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious
volunteer-run endeavor to provide the Indo American
community of the Pittsburgh region with a recreational place
to call their own. Members work together to ensure
cleanliness, decorum and cooperation in the CHARPAI
courtyard. The motto is “Family Fun and Friendship for
Future Empowerment.” Keep our vibrant Indo-American
community flying high with CHARPAI!
